NFDA specifically selects convention facilities fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you require special assistance while attending the Convention & Expo, please visit your hotel’s registration desk or the NFDA Registration desk at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

NFDA encourages business or business-casual attire for general daytime events. The dress code for specific special events is as follows:
Welcome Party: Represent your alma matter or favorite team by wearing your favorite college apparel
All-Star Recognition Ceremony: Business attire
Spirit of Boston Dinner Cruise: Cocktail
Visit the FedEx Office Print & Ship Center in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Hours: Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
If you call 9-1-1 you must also notify a uniformed officer or call the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center Public Safety Command Center at extension 2222 or 617.954.2222. Their officers will respond to the emergency while coordinating outside resources to the location of the incident.

Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the convention center.
NFDA endorses and enforces responsible drinking policies for all convention attendees. No one under 21 years of age or those appearing intoxicated will be served alcohol during any NFDA function.
Professional photographers will be out and about taking great photos of you and your fellow attendees enjoying this year's convention. New this year, you may download as many photos as you like - for free! - from the convention photo website: nfda.org/bostonphotos. Do you have a full convention registration? Congratulations – you have access to it all! Your badge will grant you admittance to NFDA general sessions, all workshops, the Welcome Party, All-Star Recognition Ceremony, Service of Remembrance and the world’s largest funeral service expo throughout the entire convention. All Badges are non-transferable.
Attendees who lose their badge must pay a $70-per-badge fee to obtain a replacement at NFDA Registration. If you find a badge, please help one of your professional peers by returning it to NFDA Registration, located in the Boston
Convention & Exhibition Center, North Lobby.
Loaning name badges to other attendees in order to gain admission to general sessions, workshops and the NFDA Expo is prohibited. Violation will result in revocation of the registrant’s badge and subsequent inability to attend convention events. Sharing badges results in inaccurate continuing education credit reporting.
Self-parking is located south of the building.
There is a taxi stand at the Westin Hotel, which is attached to the Boston
Convention & Exhibition Center.
