2021 Innovation Award Finalists

We are pleased to announce the finalists for this year's Innovation Award!

The Innovation Award is designed to recognize companies dedicated to advancing funeral service through new and inventive products and services. The finalists have been selected independently by a distinguished panel of judges.

The winner will be announced during Monday’s General Session at the 2021 International Convention & Expo.

First Place: Passare - Booths 1504 & 1950

Passare - www.passare.com

Passare® users wanted a way to streamline the death certificate process for every case, so the Passare team worked to develop and release the first-ever integration with a state’s electronic death registration system.

Second Place: Parting Stone - Booth #748

Parting Stone - partingstone.com

For families choosing cremation, Parting Stone’s service provides solidified remains that can be touched and held. This new form of cremation remains delivers 100% of the remains in a compressed form that resembles a collection of 40-60 beautiful river stones.

Third Place: Frigid Fluid Co. - Booths #1709 & 2344

Frigid Fluid Co. - www.frigidfluid.com

A new embalming machine that utilizes an ultra sonic sensor and digital displays for flow readouts, formula temperature and pressure. True top-down mixing to prevent uneven embalming, two patents.
